Who we are
We started as desperate graduates trying to land white-collar jobs straight out of university. Between 2023 and 2024, the rules changed in real time. Roles that would have gotten us an interview a year earlier returned nothing but walls of "unfortunately" emails, sometimes within minutes of applying. Faster than any human could have read our CVs. We spent hundreds of hours tailoring applications, rewriting cover letters, filling out five-page forms, for a 2% response rate. We tracked every application, tweaked every pitch, followed every piece of career advice. And still, silence. We couldn't take it anymore. So here we are.

What we offer
The white-collar job market is broken, especially in tech. We can't fix that, not yet. But we can fix the terms of the fight. Right now, companies use AI to reject you at scale. They automate away your time, your effort, your dignity, and give you nothing back. GhostBreakers flips the equation: trade a few dollars for the hundreds of hours you'd otherwise spend applying to silence. It's a numbers game. They made it one. We're just responding.

The real enemy
GhostBreakers exists because of ghost jobs: listings posted by companies that never intend to hire from the applications they receive. There's no clean scientific definition, but there doesn't need to be. You know one when you live through it. A company posts a role, collects thousands of applications, and hires nobody. The same listing resurfaces months later with trivial edits to pass as a "new opening". It isn't. But here's the part nobody talks about: your personal data, your name, email, phone number, work history, is harvested from those forms, packaged, and sold to data brokers. That's why you get the spam calls from foreign numbers. That's why the phishing emails know your name. Ghost jobs are not a glitch in the system. They are the system.

Our pledge
We will never sell your data. Not to brokers, not to recruiters, not to anyone. Period. This isn't a loophole-friendly privacy policy buried in four pages of legalese. It's a founding principle. The entire reason this project exists is that companies exploit applicant data. We refuse to become what we're fighting against.

The philosophy
GhostBreakers is not a productivity hack. It is a response. Companies automated the rejection process and called it "efficiency". We automated the application process and called it fair. Every application our AI agent submits is a statement: your time has value, even if their system pretends it doesn't. Every person who joins is one more signal that the current system is broken, and that we are not putting up with it.

The future
Auto-apply is where we start, not where we stop. We are building systems to detect and flag employers suspected of posting ghost jobs, so you never waste your personal information on a listing designed to exploit it. We are developing tools to track which companies genuinely hire from their postings and which ones use recruitment as a data-harvesting operation. You deserve to know who is on the other side of that form before you hand over your life story. You deserve your dignity back. We intend to give it to you.
